Skew the Future is now live.

That feels good to say.

We launched the first version of the site with a simple starting point: a place for practical civic stewardship from rural Texas, built around clear records, useful frameworks, and better ways to think through the decisions that affect all of us.

The site is still early. Some pages are finished enough to share. Some sections are still being built. Some ideas are going to grow as the work grows.

That is part of the point.

Skew the Future is not meant to arrive fully formed. It is meant to be useful, honest about where it is, and willing to improve in public.

Right now, the main pieces are:

TRSP, for the Texas Resource Stewardship Protocol and the larger framework of shared resources, shared standards, and shared stewardship.

More is coming.

Good Neighbor Policy materials. Public record tools. Field notes. Local government explainers. Large-impact project checklists. And a better home for the work that has been scattered across conversations, documents, meetings, and public comments.

I’m excited to see where this goes.

I’m also asking for a little patience while it gets built out.

This is the first version, not the final version.

But it is a real beginning.
